Orchard Subcontracting
Since a couple of years Orchard has been cooperating with a Lithuanian partner, who has considerable experience of contracting the building of ships, ship conversions and ship repair projects. They carry out approximately 30 to 40 projects annually in Europe, a.o. in The Netherlands, and are still growing.
Orchard's Lithuanian partner has started activities in Klaipéda, situated on the Baltic Sea, and has meanwhile become very experienced in executing complex projects, branching out in ship repair and constructing steel items like bridges and factory buildings.
At his very moment they have more than 700 professionals at work on several projects in Europe as well as in the Netherlands.
Their activities - among others - are:
Repairs in dry-dock and alongside.
Maintenance and general repairs.
Ships' engine and machinery repair.
Repairs of electrical ships' systems.
Repairs on ships' spindles and screws.
Repairs on rudder systems and thrusters.
Blasting and painting ships, Casco's and tanks.
Steelworks like welding, cutting gouging and bending.
Piping activities such as repairs and building.
Insulation works .
They are also highly skilled on completely newly built ship sections. They can carry out these works on your premises, as well as at other locations in Europe and even in the Netherlands.
I should be only too pleased to advise you further about the many possibilities.
